Agreement to Terms
Welcome to Journey planners. By accessing our website, communicating with our expert travel agents, or confirming any travel packages through our platform, you signify your explicit agreement to be bound by these comprehensive Terms and Conditions. Please review them meticulously prior to finalizing any reservations. If any portion of these terms is unacceptable to you, we advise against proceeding with your booking.
Booking and Payments
We believe in maintaining absolute transparency throughout your booking journey:
- Advance Payment to Secure Booking: To guarantee your reservations for flights, premium accommodations, or holistic tour packages, a non-refundable upfront payment (typically ranging from 30% to 50%, determined by the specific itinerary details) is mandatory.
- Final Balance Clearance: The outstanding balance must be fully settled no later than 15 days before your scheduled departure date. Non-compliance with this timeline may unfortunately result in the automatic annulment of your booking without prior notice.
- Dynamic Pricing & Fluctuations: Please be aware that overall package prices are dynamic. They are subject to potential adjustments without prior intimation due to sudden fluctuations in airline tariffs, hotel rates, government tax revisions, or currency exchange rate variations until your final payment has been successfully recorded.
Cancellations and Refunds
We deeply understand that life is unpredictable and travel plans can change. Our cancellation and refund framework is structured as clearly as possible:
- 30+ Days Prior: For cancellations initiated 30 days or more before the departure date, 25% of the total package value will be retained as standard cancellation charges.
- 15 to 29 Days Prior: If you cancel within the 15 to 29-day window prior to departure, a 50% deduction of the total package cost will be applied.
- Less than 15 Days Prior / No-Show: Cancellations made less than 15 days ahead of departure, or failure to board/arrive (no-show), will result in a 100% forfeiture of the total package cost (strictly No Refund).
- Refund Processing: Approved refunds will be systematically routed back to the original method of payment. Please allow a standard processing window of 10 to 15 business days following formal written acknowledgment of your cancellation request.
Travel Documents & Responsibilities
As a valued traveler, it is your fundamental responsibility to ensure you are completely legally prepared for your journey:
- Valid Identification: You are required to possess valid, government-issued photo identification (such as an Aadhar Card, Passport, or Driving License) accessible at all times during your trip.
- Documentation Validity: Journey planners strictly declines responsibility for any delays, denied boardings, or trip cancellations resulting from invalid, expired, or missing personal documentation.
- Punctuality: Travelers are expected to uphold strict punctuality, especially during group tours or scheduled transfers. Journey planners cannot be held liable for missed flights, train departures, or forfeited sightseeing excursions caused by the traveler's tardiness.
Force Majeure and Liabilities
Journey planners operates as an organizing agent coordinating with independent airlines, hotels, transporters, and varied service providers. Consequently, we must legally disclaim liability for the following:
- Personal Loss: Any personal injury, health issue, or damage to/loss of property associated with accommodations, transport networks, or external services during the trip.
- Force Majeure Events: Unexpected delays, itinerary alterations, or complete cancellations triggered by extraordinary events beyond our control—including natural disasters, severe adverse weather conditions, political unrest, localized strikes, or unforeseen roadblocks.
- Ancillary Expenses: Any additional financial burden incurred by the traveler directly resulting from such unforeseen circumstances must be borne entirely by the traveler.
Itinerary Alterations
While we painstakingly strive to execute your confirmed itinerary precisely as planned, Journey planners reserves the right to modify or adjust the travel schedule if mandated by unavoidable on-ground realities (e.g., abrupt severe weather, sudden road closures). In such rare instances, we pledge to seamlessly substitute the affected activities with the best possible alternatives, ensuring your overall experience remains uncompromised.
Jurisdiction
Any disputes, controversies, or claims arising from these Terms and Conditions, or relating directly to the travel services provisioned by Journey planners, shall be submitted to the exclusive legal jurisdiction of the competent courts located in New Delhi, India.
